Papas, other-mothers, hang in there! Or perhaps it is you, the baby-carriers that have eagerly waited. Either way, best of luck on your journeys back to coupledom!
Welcome to this blog. Started in 2010, the writing began as a way for me to cope with not getting pregnant, and living with and loving another woman who did. The blog has been a vibrant, changing creature since then, documenting our lives, the hard bits and the blessings. This is a place for those who have felt broken, like their bodies don't work, like their hearts will break open. A place to be honest, to reflect on what's important. I hope you enjoy this bittersweet romp through the mysteries of life. E
I am descended from the rightful king of Scotland in the 12th century, who was cowardly defeated by Robert the Bruce. We've been scampering across the globe, much maligned since. I am from Quebec, land of poutine and all things scandalous and I am proudly teaching my kids French. My orientation tends toward the ladies (okay, almost always) and I'm 95% vegan. I don't exercise enough but I love to dance. I have two stupendous cats. We love plants but I don't look after them. Which reminds me, I'm married to a marvelous gal who carried our first child Ben (well, you know what I mean). And I finally, finally, carried our youngest Daniel who was born in 2013. They have the same donor.
Well not the post I was expecting, but so glad you are posting again. Hopefully this will launch your blogging mojo also. Cheers.
